The Oakville Girls Softball Association has enjoyed a long and successful connection with Sport Oakville, in support of girls’ softball in Oakville. Through this partnership, softball has grown over 50 percent over the last decade, and expanded beyond Oakville, with girls from Hamilton to Mississauga and North to Milton and Halton Hills participating in our league programs, including a successful and safe 2020 season. Sport Oakville has been a tremendous advocate of our organization and as we work to continue to grow beyond the current COVID situation, will continue to be one of our partners as we support the continued growth of female softball player, umpires and coaches in the Region.

Sport Oakville have created a venue whereby Oakville sports organizations of all sizes can network and access the Town of Oakville resources. Funding assistance has been particularly useful to fill gaps and enable growth for our organization and have funded improvements that enhance watersports experiences for all ages.

Sport Oakville is a significant community partner and resource for the Burloak Canoe Club. We benefit from networking opportunities with all of Oakville's sports organizations members. We have received Grants from Sport Oakville to help support our programs. The Burloak Canoe Club has participated in the Sport Oakville community events such as the Oakville Children's Festival Sport Zone to help increase community awareness of our Club. Having our athletes and coaches recognized at the annual Sport Oakville Awards is an important celebration of our clubs achievements with our community. Burloak appreciates the leadership Sport Oakville provides in bringing together and supporting sport in our community.

The Lakeside Volleyball Club would like to thank Sport Oakville for its continued support. The support we receive from Sport Oakville has actively helped us in delivering our program, including the important and valued supply of essential equipment and coaching aids, including certification for coaches. In addition, the awards banquet provides a strong platform for the outstanding contributions made by players, volunteers and coaches alike. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Sport Oakville as we navigate the tricky path ahead in 2021 on beyond.
