Sport Oakville is proud to announce a new location for the annual Sport Recognition Awards event in 2023.
The date is: Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023 – 2 to 4 pm.
Location: Town of Oakville (in the atrium)……1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, Ontario.
The Sport Recognition Awards event provides member sport organizations an opportunity to nominate and recognize athletes, coaches, and volunteers from their organization with an award for their achievements and contributions to their respective developing sport.
The following categories are represented at the awards ceremonies:
– Athlete Award
– Coach Award
– Volunteer Award
– Team Award
The Sport Recognition Awards event is a popular event and is well attended by the members, and their respective families, along with the winners of the awards. Each award recipient is provided with a Sport Recognition medal along with an opportunity to network with other athletes, coaches and volunteers while enjoying light refreshments at the conclusion of the event. Thanks to the support of many Sport Oakville sponsors, the attendees can be selected to win a door prize.
